Sustainability
In the 2024-25 academic year, SIGS has launched a new project focused on sustainability, a key pillar of global citizenship education. In partnership with the Earth Charter International and the Soka Amazon Institute, SUA students will have the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica or the Amazon Rainforest to learn more about ecological sustainability. On campus, a series of panel discussions will be held on topics related to sustainable urban development, energy infrastructure, and planetary citizenship, among others, facilitating discussions and explorations to make our commitment to sustainability a common and de facto basis of society today.
